If I had the choice between working out and having a root canal, I’d choose the root canal, hehe. Okay, that’s a little too much but you know what I mean. I have the intent but not the motivation to actually do it – until now.

That’s right. I came across the website Gympact who pays you to workout. When you sign up to become a member, you create a pact – a personal commitment to achieve your weekly goals. And guess where the payout comes from? It’s paid by those who did not meet their pact. Now that’s what I call motivation!

Here’s how it works.

Gympact uses GPS, photos and other services to track your activities. All activities are verified in order to count toward your pact.

The good thing about Gympact is that it’s totally flexible. If for some reason – like an illness – prevents you from keeping your pact, you simply contact them and they will exempt you from your pact until you’re better. Keep in mind they may ask for contact information from your doctor to confirm.

Three Steps To Earn Money

Rewards are based on the number of days you’ve committed to working out and completed and payout generally runs between 0.30 cents to $5 per week. Here are three steps to help you earn money.

  1. Commit. Make a weekly pact to exercise more and eat healthier. Then set up what you’ll pay other members if you don’t meet that commitment.
  2. Meet Your Goals. Gympact uses technology like GPS to track you’re walking or hitting the gym as stated in your pact. You can also upload selfies of yourself eating healthy, too.
  3. Take advantage of every health goal. There is a pact to commit to exercising more, to track what you eat as well as your fruits and veggies intake.

As of the date of this post, Gympact reports a total of 11.8 million workouts have been logged, 4.6 million meals logged, 6.2 million fruit and veggies eaten and a 92% success rate. I’m tellin’ ya, if you’re looking for an extra boost of motivation, this is the way to go.
