If you want to be a success working from home, there are some tools and software must-haves for your home office.
Besides having a dedicated work-space that’s quiet and away from distractions, you also want your home office to have those warm and inviting feels so you can be productive while you’re in there.
I’ve put together a list of home office must-haves to help you be your work-from-home best.
PC Monitor
Most work-from-home jobs requires a PC monitor to be at least a minimum of 17 inches and that’s capable for a 1024×768 setting.
I used two monitors for a long time but then I bought an 32-inch monitor from HP and oh my goodness, I love it!
It was a Black Friday deal but you can get find great deals on Amazon like the HP 32-Inch FHD IPS Monitor*. This one has tilt adjustment and an anti-glare panel.
Be Glam and Organized With A Chic Planner
I love me a planner! When I worked in corporate America, the company would give us a voucher for a Franklin Covey planner. Back then, they were the shit and all the Managers had one. It’s funny. Now that I think about it, if a manager didn’t have a Franklin Covey, they were not cool. Yep, there were clicks in the office but that’s a whole other story!
Anyway, today there are many more planner options and they come with extras like stickers and tabs. And they come in vibrant colors to show off your personal style!
I love the colors in this 2020-2021 planner with flexible hardcover* by BooQool!
Glam Up Your Home Office
If you want to make your workspace a sanctuary, here are some ideas to glam up your home office!
Start with a desk upgrade. I’ve been bugging the hubs to get me this desk but since the one I have is still in great condition, he’s like ‘you already have a good desk’, ugh!
This is the desk I have my eye on. I saw it on Amazon* and it’s $337.98. Isn’t it gorge!?
Add some glam like this like this 5-piece gold desk organizer set by Blu Monaco* that’s also available on Amazon.
Use stylish file folders like this set of “Make Things Happen”* file folder set by Graphique to keep important docs stored.
Add a succulent to bring a little nature to your home office. I don’t have a green thumb to save my life so I would go for one like this Winlyn 2-pack artificial Potted Plants Faux Eucalyptus & Rosemary Greenery*.
And you can’t have a glam office without a glam office chair like this Velvet Desk Task Chair*
Last but not least, finish it off with a glam coffee or tea mug*!
