Hi y’all! Welcome to Remote Working Mom Life. My name is Corina but I go by Cori.
I started this blog back in March 2013 to share remote jobs, home-based business opportunities and side hustles with other mom’s who are looking to have the best of both worlds – working and raising a family.
You see, before that, I worked in corporate America as a Coach Leader and Sales Manager. The climb up the ladder of success was great but I was never home. My kids practically raised themselves and were latch-key kids until they were teens.
After 9 years of long hours, 6-day work weeks, and a rebelling teen, I decided to quit my job and go into another field that was less stressful and would let me be home for my kids.
At first, I was looking for an office job and that’s when I discovered work-from-home jobs. Then I learned about starting a blog and that’s when it occurred to me that I can help other moms who are ready to ditch the cubicle and work from home. The rest as they say is history!

I love riding with the hubs on his Harley. That is when he’s not working. We take off and leave our kids LOL. I’m a pre-empty nester and the one at home is in his 30s! I love a good glass of wine, a good book, especially by my all-time favorite Stephen King. I’m a TV binger – I love old TV shows from I Love Lucy to Reba, Friends, The Nanny and Frasier. And I enjoy going to rock concerts and my favorite music ranges from classic rock to Christian music.

But my favorite moments are when I’m with family – especially my grandkids, and that includes my 13-year old furbaby Fergie. There is nothing better than having the people you love around you. Now that my kids are grown, it’s hard to get them in one place at the same time and when they are, I cherish every moment. Just don’t tell them because they’ll think it’s not cool. 🙂
